At Lacunza Camps, we believe that the best gift we can give children is the opportunity to grow both personally and academically, giving each child a sense of independence, validation and personal accomplishment.
It is because of this, we strive to provide a safe, welcoming, international and bilingual environment where importance is placed on increasing communication, cultural awareness, teamwork and personal development through quality language instruction, creative projects, adventure activities, field trips, games and sports.
Our highly qualified team of professionals provides all of our students with the emotional support and comfort necessary for them to relax and enjoy this unique experience as they learn languages, create unforgettable memories and forge lasting friendships with other children from around the world. This special bilingual experience ultimately enriches children’s personal life as well as, their academic results.
Through our exclusive summer camp programme, we look to bridge the gap between cultures as we teach children the importance of languages and core values in this ever changing and globalizing world.
Our Lacunza Summer Camp specializes in the teaching of Spanish and English as second languages. Each summer, we receive participants ages 7 to 15 from a diverse group countries ranging from the United States and Canada to European countries like Spain, England, France, Germany, Sweden and the rest of the world including Russia, Kenya, Bahrain, China, Korea and Namibia to name a few. Our participants come to Lacunza Summer Camp to have fun, to grow and to make friends from around the world while learning Spanish and/or English.
These young students of varied cultural backgrounds will live and grow together at camp enriching their life experience as they expand their knowledge of foreign people and cultures through first-hand experience. Our camp nurtures an accepting environment where diversity is embraced and encouraged.
Our campus is situated in the Spanish province of Guipuzcoa in the quiet mountain town of Urnieta located just 10 kilometres from the beautiful beach of San Sebastian. This region of Spain is characterized by its diverse geography allowing our participants to enjoy weekend activities at the beach and in the mountains. There are a plethora of small towns, museums, monuments, nature reserves, parks and other attractions to explore, also.
Lacunza Summer Camp provides the perfect opportunity for students who want to learn, experience, and get to know San Sebastian and the surrounding areas and towns in a secure and educational environment.
