See what happened at the camp last year

Workshops


After the last language class of the day and before eating, the students will take part in some fun cultural workshops and games so that they can relax, unwind and socialise after a morning of classes.

Below is a list of just a few of the possible activities in the programme:

  • Theatre: the students will choose a play that they will organise together with the help of the counsellor. They will choose the costumes, the scene decoration, the make up,... everything they need so that these little stars can shine as bright as possible.
  • First Aid: They will receive instruction on the most useful life saving techniques.
  • Arts and Crafts: They will make all kinds of handy crafts with a variety of materials: cardboard, thread, paper, paste, clay, water colours, tooth picks,... they will become true artists.
  • Dance: they will learn Latin dances, flemenco and hip-hop. Later they will have the opportunity to demonstrate their new found talent during Disco Nights.
  • Communication: we will create a camp newspaper in the computer lab and print copies for the students to have. Each day the students will decide the most important camp news from the previous day to be put in the next edition.
  • Environment: in these workshops, the youths will learn about the natural world and their surroundings as they take walks, hike,.... all while they learn to care for our beloved mother nature.
