CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN LACUNZA SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMME

To the effect of the present general conditions, this brochure is an informative document to which they apply. The brochure includes information about the programmes, duration and calender, transport, housing details, prices and necessary information concerning the different programmes.

The information contained in this brochure is binding for both parties, unless one of the following circumstances occurs:

• Changes in said information have been communicated to the consumer before the contract date, and this possibility has been explicitly mentioned in the brochure.

• Modifications are made with the previous consent from both contracting parties.

Registration, price and form of payment
All solicited registrations in any of our programmes will be formalised by the thorough completion of the registration form and must be accompanied by the 250 euros deposit. No registration will be processed without the accompaniment of written proof of the realised payment. The payment of this quantity will cover the initial inscription process and will be discounted from the total price of the programme.

The rest of the contracted price will be paid 30 days before the course starting date.

There is a limited number of places in the programme so it is advisable to register at least 60 days before the course starting date.

Registration is private and not transferable.

Discounts and promotions can not be combined.

Changes made to the original registration will incur a change fee of 50 Euros.

Revision of Prices
The programme prices are subject to change as a consequence of the fluctuation in currencies, increased transport rates and taxes and fees applicable during the dates of this edition of the Lacunza Summer Camp programme.

Said variations in the price will be communicated to the consumer, if possible, when the variations are significant enough to effect travel or acceptance of modification of the contract.

Cancellation, failure to appear and/or payment of the programme by the consumer
In the event that a consumer decides to cancel their programme contract, they must present a written notification to Lacunza Summer Camp. The consumer will have the right to be refunded the amount they paid to Lacunza Summer Camp. Although, they must pay Lacunza Summer Camp for the following concepts (except in the cases where the cancellation is caused by a larger force):

a) Management expenses: Minimum of 250 Euros non-refundable

b) A surcharge consisting of the following amounts:

• 50% of the programme cost, if the cancellation is made between 10º and 20º days before the course starting date.

• 75% of the programme cost, if the cancellation is made between 3º and 10º days before the course starting date.

• 85% of the programme cost, if the cancellation is made 48 hours before the course starting date.

Failure to appear by the consumer on the anticipated starting date, voluntary withdraw from the programme, by parents or legal guardians or expulsion from the programme will result in the complete loss of received payment without right of reimbursement.

Alterations and Incidents in the Programme
Lacunza Summer Camp is committed to facilitating the consumer with all of the contracted services in the content of the programme with the conditions and stipulating characteristics. Albeit, they must keep in mind the following considerations:

a. In the possibility that, before the start of the programme, Lacunza Summer Camp sees the necessity to significantly modify an essential element of the contract, price included, they must immediately contact the consumer. They may choose to nullify the contract, without any cancellation fee, or they may accept the modification of the contract. In the latter case, Lacunza Summer Camp will specify the modification made to the programme and their repercussions.

b. Differences and/or complaints raised by consumers, that arise during the contracted programme, should be made known to the responsible organisation of the programme in order to come to a satisfactory solution as soon as possible. If the solution proposed by the organisation is not satisfactory to the consumer, they will have a 10 day period to present a written complaint to Lacunza Summer Camp. Lacunza Summer Camp will have, a period of 15 business days to respond to the consumer’s written complaint. The 15 business day period will be counted from the day after the written complaint is submitted to Lacunza Summer Camp.

c. If there is a complaint, all possible measures will be taken in order to reach a solution that is satisfactory to the consumer.

Protection of Personal Details
In compliance with the Statutory Law 15/1999 of December 13th, regarding the protection of personal details, Lacunza Summer Camp will file all personal details in a data base (owned and operated by Lacunza Summer Camp S.L) for their own business purposes. Acceptance of these general conditions implies that you consent to said use of this information. In addition, we inform you of the possibility to exercise your right to access, rectification and cancellation established by current legislation.

Legal regulation and acceptance of the General Conditions: The present general conditions are subject to the terms established by the Law 7/1988 of April 13th concerning the general conditions of contracts, the law 16/1984 of July 19th, General for the Defense of Consumers and Users and Civil Code.

All Lacunza Summer Camp programmes are covered by a civil responsibility insurance. This is not effected by any additional insurance contracted by the student. Lacunza Summer Camp acts as a mere intermediary between the insurance company and the consumer that contracts one of our programmes. All claims by the consumer shall be directly communicated to the insurance company.

All students are subject to a set of basic rules of coexistence and respect towards the teachers, school staff, chaperones and fellow students. If a student exhibits unacceptable conduct of a serious nature, the student will be reprimanded. If the unacceptable behaviour persists, Lacunza Summer Camp reserves the right to deny the student participation in the programme without refund of tuition.

If a student requires urgent medical attention or is in need of an operation, and their parents or guardian are unable to be contacted, Lacunza Summer Camp will be authorised to take the necessary measures. Lacunza Summer Camp cannot be held legally responsible for the measures that are taken. Furthermore, the students must attach a photocopy of their social security card, or insurance card (from a company accepted by Spanish Social Security), to this registration form.

The signing of this document grants Lacunza Summer Camp permission to use any photographic material containing the image of the student for the programme’s promotional use.

Acceptance of conditions: The participation in our programmes implies the acceptance of all of the conditions explained in this registration form.
