Below you will find a series of suggestions to keep in mind when preparing to come to Lacunza Summer Camp.
Clothes (All clothes must be labelled with the student’s first and last name)
Please see below the material your child needs to bring to camp:
Students that wear glasses should bring a spare set in case you loose or break them. The camp will not be responsible for lost or broken articles.
Toiletries:
soap, shampoo, toothpaste & toothbrush, sun cream...
Other Materials:
Students may bring other personal belongings (tennis racquets, ping-pong paddles, musical instruments, mp3 player, ...). The camp recommends not bringing video games (PSP, Nintendo DS,...). Lacunza Summer Camp cannot be held responsible for the loss or theft of these or any other personal belongings. To avoid problems we recommend bringing suitcases and backpacks that can be locked.
COMPULSORY: PHOTOCOPY OF HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY OR CARD.
Spending Money:
We advise that the student brings around 60 Euro a week to spend on telephone calls, drinks, personal expenditures,... This money can be deposited in the camp bank and can be distributed to the child at the parent / guardian’s request.
The camp cannot be held responsible for stolen money that is not kept in the bank.
Mail & Telephones:
Lacunza Summer Camp is equipped with a computer room with internet. Here the students will be able to send e-mails and contact their family.
There will also be time set aside to make and receive phone calls. You will be able to call them during the following times (GMT +1): from 14:00 to 15:30 & from 20:30 to 22:30.
Those students with mobile phones will be able to turn them on from 08:30 to 09:45, from 14:00 to 15:30 & from 20:30 to 22:30.
Use of mobile phones outside of the allotted time is grounds for loss of this privilege and the phone will be taken from the student and will not be returned until the last day of the course.
We recommend that mobile phones be turned over to the counsellors when not being used. If this is not done, Lacunza Summer Camp takes no responsibility for lost or stolen mobile phones.
Lastly, the camp director will have the emergency telephone with them at all times. This telephone will be on 24 hours during the duration of the camp. The contact number for this phone will be provided to all parents before their child´s arrival at camp. As the name indicates, this number is to be used for emergencies only.
